Yaw congrats on a GM starting an event at like 1130 while we were 4+ hours into a raid. Most people were too tired to go as it was, But I hear some did go after and soon as they were summoned Derubael said FFA within less then a minute of them arriving, leading to a group of nihilum just dying to 20+ red dawn already sitting there ready to go.

I understand you guys might have had your epeens throbbing hard after killing some FoH in fear and beating your chests like bad asses 30vs10 or whatever it was. Maybe next time it can take place when people aren't busy and its more defined what this 'gm pvp event' is because it was said to be from 1v1 to 3v3 to group vs group to possibly guild on guild teams

We did a little bit of everything. There were some 1v1's and then we did an FFA clusterfuck that was supposed to just be a hold over until Nihilum was done in sky, as Elderan had told me a handful of people there would be interested in showing up for some fun. About a minute before the FFA started, a few people sent me tells asking for summons. I had no idea they were Nihilum, so I summoned them in, laid out the rules one last time, and said go. After the inevitable happened (they were instantly targeted and slain) I apologized to them, brought a couple more in, and we did a 3 way teams battle that everyone had a blast with.

Hoping to do one of these once a week or so, but I'm going to schedule them so that people won't be raiding sky. I don't think Nihilum needs to make any excuses for not showing up - 4 hours in sky will kill anyone on a Wednesday night. Hopefully with some advanced notice everyone can show up to run some 6v6's, 12vs12's and full on guild wars.

Taking ideas for locations, btw. We did this one in the EC tunnel at shady swashbuckler, but it'd be cool to try some different spots out.

Very cool Derubael! What about despawning a zone like Chardok and doing it in there? Place has a Doom feel to it. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Unrest would be kinda cool too.

The best events arent pre-planned, duel like stuff. Theyre when people fight over event mobs. To make sure a guild like nilly doesnt lock down an event by sitting 60 people on top of it, you spawn event mobs on multiple continents.
