![]() Looking for someone very proficient with bash scripts to write a script that will do the following:
Parse a file, pullng the nth word of every line. This word will be a jiffy timestamp. That timestamp needs to be checked against the current jiffy timestamp to determine if it is over x seconds old. If it is, a command will be performed, using another word on the same line as an argument. Not interested in anyone trying to google this for the first time, only inquire if you're familiar with this terminology already. Script needs to be optomized for speed. Distro is CentOS 6.5.
