![]() Hello,
I was wondering if it is against the rules to log on to a friend's account to help them keep up in levels. My group has people with varying amounts of play time, and sometimes they aren't all able to play at the same time. I am not asking about boxing - I know that is not allowed. I would only be playing on either my account or my friend's at any given time. Anyone happen to know if this is okay or not? Thanks! | ||

Unofficially, it's fine and people do it all the time and it's not something that's bannable.

![]() People can share accounts. I recall that this was frowned upon on Live back in the early years. If you let a guide know that your account was shared, a note was made (soul mark) to this effect and no help with compromised accounts would be offered in the future.
On P99, many people share accounts. Guilds typically have banker accounts, tracker accounts, port character accounts, etc which many in the guild have access to. Do remember though, that if you let a friend log on your account and they do something stupid (use cheating programs, intentionally train people, etc) your account can and will be subject to disciplinary actions including banning so choose wisely.
