![]() I'm going to start by saying, the bible is supposed to be believed on faith. But I understand as Humans we will question it. Sometimes as Humans we have to see things with are own eyes to believe it. But when you see Jesus with your own eyes its already to late. I'm going to give some proof that he did walk the Earth and that Jesus is real and is the one and only God. In the bible it talks about many kings, and cities. It took a while to find them but Archealogists used the Bible to successfully find them. Here is a link to where it talks about finding some of the cities and proving Scientists wrong Click HERE It also talks about the flood, and we have found cities under water to prove so. And also talks about in the Bible of how there were Giants, of course the story of David and Goliath is a good example. There have been giant human skeletons found click HERE for the proof. You might say the Bible is a made up story. But if you read the Bible and look at the world today its spot on. It talks about a one world Government and how the anti Christ will run that government. The way things are going we will eventually have a one world government. If the U.S dollar collapses every other currency will feel it. They wont collapse at first but it will be a slow down fall, that will lead to having only one option make one type of currency so this never happens again. And they will get all the country's together and under one ruler. I'm only posting this because I know this will happen the way things are shows it will happen, the Bible says it will happen and the Bible was never wrong. You have to ask yourself are you willing to risk it? When you die and are face to face with him it will be to late. I'm not here trying to push it in your face or say you're a bad person because we're all bad. I've done a lot of bad things but i'm not going to post it or talk about it on here. I'm just asking that you'll think about it maybe read the links I gave you. Please don't start bashing any religions in the comments or starting any fights, this is not to start anything. What I hope to get out of this post, is that I made one person pick the Bible up.

![]() Let me go ahead and sum up your argument with a counterargument.
The sky is blue and the universe is ruled over by Galactic Lord Xenu. See, there first part of what I said is true and therefore Galactic Lord Xenu exists! | ||

![]() Im a christian, but I also question the hell out of it. Picking the bible up and reading it might scare people away as well. For instance, Noah and the arc..how believable is that. There isnt even enough water on the planet to cover the earth. Even if god made water to cover the whole earth, all the animals on the boat would suffocate because they are at such a high altitude. And, how did all the animals and creatures just randomly come in two and get on a boat? The alligators and such just got along with everything else I guess...must have been friendly back then. Finally, so the flood settled and the kangaroos knew that they had to hop all the way back to australia and so on. Now I can go over more like Jona and the whale, and David and Goliath..but lets just stop here. Now whats more believable...Santa clause delivering presents to every child on earth in one night through a chimney or the Noah story? See where im coming from here? I think if a person were to pick up the bible and start believing it, it should be when Jesus arrived in the readings.

![]() Quote:
“...the scripture cannot be broken.” --Jesus Christ, John 10:35 I commend you for thinking critically, thats a good sign. Now you just need to think about why you're comforted by the New Testament and critically evaluate whether your belief is based on reasonable groundings or simply comfort. There's nothing wrong with comfort, but if you prefer the things you believe to be true it's tough to keep believing based purely on comfort. Enjoy your journey, you are not alone. Regards, Mg

![]() What if the bible is changed from its original inspiration? God, in its/his/her nearly infinite wisdom, inserted the warning about changing the bible. Humans, the crafters of the biblical text, in their arrogance, thought themselves clever when they put the warning in the bible. So the biblical text cannot be trusted. One has to turn to their soul and ask for God on their own to find hte truth.
It'd be too tempting to change the bible, think about it. One thing that crosses my mind are the divisions in the bible. These're something humans like to create. Perhaps they were inserted by humans. I do not believe God would craft something to make people be at odds with each other and to justify mass slaughter. We humans are a corrupt manipulative bunch. Still are. Science changes nothing. I'll go out on a limb and say many of the divisions today are similarly created by us. Not to ferment peace, as we like to say, but to fortify ourselves against the broader reality outside ourselves. See, I believe we're all flawed. All countries, all cultures. We deny our flaws and project our frustration on others.

![]() David and Goliath isn't too bad. Goliath was only about 3 cubits (9 feet tall). Robert Wadlow (tallest guy in the Guinness book) was about that tall. Plus, I can chalk a lot of that up to simple hyperbole, and they really weren't too precise back then.
Even once Jesus arrives wasn't too correct about lots of things.
