Quick question about +39 Magician pets

I see on the wiki that from 39 and above, our pets have a set level. Can anyone confirm this?

No other pet class has that, so I find it a little hard to believe.

Edit: I also wanted to add, since the level, health and damage also seem fixed, what improves about the pet when its focused?

No, the wiki is wrong currently. Mages are lazy, thats why we sit around and let pets do all the work. They still have the same 5 level range. 49 pet ranges from 38-42 for instance. The focus does the same as the pre-39 level pets. No level change, just bigger and better.
