In most cases these sad guards here are no tougher than run of the mill trash. Easier even.

As you can tell, I'm not keeping this guy rooted for more any amount of time at all.

I think you can also notice I don't channel my spells here half as often as I would on a 60 wizard trying this here on P99.

Freeport and Grobb in town guards are way too easily killed here for VERY high xp.

2 in town Cabilis guards can be used to easily take down the Vessel for enchanter epic there as well.

Ain't classic.

This shows high elf guards being extremely resistant which I think is true but I don't think all the guards were as resistant as high elf guards. Need more prof of other guards.

Gate guards are already practically MR on p99, which are the ones that were buffed on live.

Ice Spear is from Velious. Steeeeee-rike 1.

But, to be sure, this is from live.

Town front guards are IMMUNE, which is correct.

In town guards should have insanely high magic/spell resist.

I'll go to Freeport (hopefully has the same guards) and Grobb tonight.

I'm 100% on this one.

Going to check out Freeport, same deal I'm sure. Roots barely lasted a tick or two if they even landed at all.

Okay Freeport has been completely WoW-ified. Fuck this place.

Nilberg you need anymore? These in town guards were never meant to be solo'd for XP, esp by casters. I'll go with their hp being right, but their resists are way off.

I'll be happy to try Halas or Neriak which I don't think are changed if you need more.

As a shaman who solo'd some in Oggok, i can tell you they are fairly resistant as is. I'll tell you that people have been killing those guards for all of eternity. They were always worthwhile. I dont understand the reasoning of going to live and fighting stuff and comparing it to here.

IMO how about report bugs rather than try to argue pointless things that need no fixing.
