Curious about Tradeskills??

I'd like some info about what tradekill recipes are accessible and what are not? Its tough to tell this early on what is make-able and what is not. The good ole try it an see what happens is safe enough but .. ahhh Very costly when ya start talking about trying to craft some cultural armors?
