Default mob ghosting

There is a lot of mob ghosting in west karana for me lately, I've been sitting next to the tree where the hill giant pops somewhere due east from the ogre camp and a lot of times when I target the bastard, and hit my pet attack button, it pauses a moment and then he vanishes. Then I end up running all over in a circular pattern from the ogres, to the inn to find him, and he ends up ghosting two+ more times. Has mob location updates changed recently to induce this?

There's definitely a delay with the mobs updating. I've seen this since I got track about a month ago. Not sure how much longer it's been going on.

When I try to track something shortly after zoning/logging in, I'll track to where it was when I zoned in (sometimes I'll see the mob standing where it was, sometimes the spot will be empty) and about 1 minute later, the mob will update to its real location.

This happens all over and often isn't even related to the mob having been there recently.

Good examples include:

Random minotaur in Lguk dead side zone in. First it's there, then it's gone.
Random elemental pets in Sola.
Random shaman pet in SolB.

Not exactly what you are describing (although I know exactly what you're talking about) but possibly related.
