![]() Picked this spell up the other day and been playing around with it.
On single pulls this spell does 600 damage in 3 waves. On single pulls w/ someones pet engaged on the mob it does 2 waves of 600 and you also get resist messages (I get from the pet) On single pulls w/ an enchanter charmed pet + player pets you get 2 waves of 600 and 2 resist messages (from player pets) and so on. Maybe I'm misunderstanding the mechanics but I think pet(s) cause only 2 waves instead of 3. I have not tried it as an AoE spell yet.

![]() Found source. More than one mob in the vicinity causes the waves to be reduced by 1.
But I find no mention of player pets reducing the AoE however. Quote:

![]() Going to revive this thread. Rains have the potential to be the most mana efficient spell in the game (depending on resists).
But they are incorrectly hitting pets (for full resists), and 'using up' some of the waves. Please fix this so wizard sustained DPS can scale up from terrible to mostly terrible. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] | ||

![]() Pets counting as targets for your Rain spells is confirmed classic until a Velious patch. My evidence:

![]() Ahh shucks, but at least that puts this to bed until Velious. Thanks.
