Allizewsaur drop rate?

Over 50 kills, nothing but the odd (rare) seafury gem. Has he been nerfed into total pointlessness now? Seriously what is the point of this mob now?

i've killed him hundreds of times and only saw 2 black sapphires and 1 diamond.
