Public messages on profiles gone?

Hey guys, is it me or have the public messages (found when clicking on a user's name) been removed from the forums? I know I saw a mass circulation of a message aimed at Sirken last week, wondered if that caused someone to pull the trigger.

I wouldn't mind but I JUST LOST MY GIFS.. I used the messages to store previous gifs that were popular with fellow ForumQuesters and they're gone. It was a hall of fame, so to speak.

Are they gone forever, or can I have my page back for 10 minutes so that I can move them to my imgur page? [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] Finding them all again would take days and some were custom made/irreplaceable :/
