Default What is required for Red Zek to be successful

Player attitude needs to change.

I have heard many times throughout the announcement that people's sole purpose is to grief their team, grief other players, all roll the same team and grief the others ETC.

This is the attitude that has brought us here to a low population grief fest box. Holocaust helped set up this attitude, as well as Nizzar and the Nihilum crew.

The community needs to understand that this will lead to the same frustrating low population shitty situation we have now, and work together to make these people the outcasts.

A suggestion that I have that was from VZTZ is a mandatory LNS when the losing guilds GUILDLEADER calls it - the guild will be allowed to loot and be required to leave the zone.

Other than that - it's really up to the players, and don't be confused - this will take everyone, even Nihilum members. Nizzar will try hard to make this box a failure, as will Tune I imagine - they want a low population grief box that they can manipulate to their advantage.

THE COMMUNITY HAS TO WORK TOGETHER TO MAKE THIS A FUN PLACE.

Stop being faggots, being a badass was cool back in 99 - this is 2013, we are mostly grown adults. I am turning a new leaf and hope others see the errors in our ways with Red99.

There will be those that try to put this mentality back into the teams server - IT WILL TAKE THE MAJORITY TO STOP THIS WITH THE HELP OF GM'S WITH A PNP.

The rule set supports community, the coding is acceptable - it is up to the players to choose if they want to grief everyone and play by themselves, or just pick and choose their shots - and try to work with people and have fun.

TLDR Version - Choose Mufassa and have a land full of antelope to eat, Choose Scar(Nizzar) and the Hyenas and we will have a barren wasteland which is Red99.

Let's work together pals and make a fun environment, GM'S be active and just rid the community of the cancerous players that will try to grief the ruleset, EX) same team trainers.

as long a sh*wE* exists, i highly doubt a pvp server on p99 everquest will ever be very successful unfortunately.

due to our ever increasing number of social degenerate, megalomaniac, narcissistic-scumbags that feel the need to lord over anyone they can any way they can.

There will be people who try to ruin things - it really requires the community to speak out in a united voice who the cancerous players are, and how they are abusing the system.

Uthgaard policed blue99 with an iron fist, and TBH people didn't fuck around after they got spanked by him - this should be no different.

I argued low GM intervention - but it's quite the opposite that needs to happen. Sirken needs to lay the fucking smack down, and I'm going to talk to him about that.

I see hacks used daily on this server, especially by one guild in particular might be time to start monitoring the guy in charge of finding them because never on sullon or rallos did I see shit this out of control.

New server's really not gonna change that

The people in Nihilum were right to a point.

Red99 catered to the WRONG players. If someone makes it their agenda to make Red Zek a shit hole whether it be forum spamming, ooc spamming ignorant comments, or griefing players by same team training/same team dispell bots - PERMA BAN.

Set the PRECEDENT that it isn't OK to act like a fucking douchebag.

We all helped make Red99 a shit hole, this is a fresh start, and it'll take the GM team Zade/Sirken who sounded like reasonable guys partnering with the players.

I haven't TBH - at the very most they use SEQ, and that's really minor in the grand scheme.

Should it be punishable - yes, but will it make or break a guild, especially with no variance. Probably not.

I think that boxing in general is a big issue right now.

Right now A LOT of players are boxing. If you aren't boxing, you are at a significant disadvantage.

I can guarantee that people will be boxing hard at server start to avoid falling behind.

If you could box your own bard or druid PL to level in 1/4 the time, why wouldn't you?

I agree, I have seen it run rampant on red99 as of late.

More out of desperation/no population maybe? Hopefully a higher population/ruleset that allows for safe areas and grouping to take place people won't NEED to?

It will most likely still happen, and I am not going to rat the confirmed boxers I have seen lately - I think the box is just in such a low point that people don't care anymore.

As long as the smackdown is warranted, i have no problems with that. I will just say i would not have set foot on red99 with uthgaard as head GM, ill leave it at that not to break GM decisions forum rule.

As for getting rid of griefers, its wishful thinking. Closest to not having them would have been FFA no xp loss from the get go, but like Bilbo said, i beleive that time has come and gone. Oh wait it was professor rapsum from that shitty day after tomorrow disaster movie.
