cyberterrorism is actually a gitmo'able offense under current legislation

the problem is botnets are usually just a virus on innocent machines, so literally starbux and disney servers could be part of the ddos against p99. something had to put them there though, and since half the tor nodes are owned by the feds anyway they could probably catch this moran if they wanted to (they don't give a FUCK)

Is it so hard to believe that maybe the ddos attacks are not targeted at p99 specifically? Elderscrolls nexus website has been getting ddos attacks for a few weeks, Path of Exile, and Smite as well. There are people out there who attack public servers to flex their epenis believe it or not.

It is not hard to believe; however, P99 has a history of being the target of DDOS but butthurt players. That is why people assume this.

They can't have charges pressed on them unless there is proof of damage to their property or proof of lose of revenue. There is no sort of money they make off this server (that we knows of) so they can't claim they lost money due to downtime so that is out of the picture. Would have to prove they damaged the server in some way and this server can be argued to be performing illegal copy right infringement so I doubt any case could be made.
