Technical issue...

Hey P99.

I have been trying to log in to your server in a long time.

I have tried to do Duxa´s installer and also the normal emulater.

I have tried almost any variation and read a lot of threds, but still cant fix my issue.

When i do Duxa´s installer i end up at character selection/creation screen, with a black background frozen.

When i do the normal emulater i end up the same place where the tabs say i should follow the start guide, to get started. But i have followed it and done as written.

Can anybody help me to solve my distress? :-)

This feels overwhelming to me, because I don't know where to start.

Will you tell me first which version of Frame Network you have?

What version of Direct X do you have?

What are you trying to do? If you are simply trying to play P99, follow the guide to set up P99 from scratch without the Launcher in my sig (which will replace option #1 in Duxa's installer). However, if you are using Duxa's to complete one of the other items, I think I can find instructions more tailored to what you want to do.

My Frame Network version is 4.0.30319.

My DirectX version is 11.

I have done the falkun manual setup guide and double-double checked it.

When i try to launch the shortcut it says i have to delete Wsock32.dll and Eqgame.dll.

Eqgame.dll is easy to delete but the computer wont allow me to delete the damn Wsock32.dll.
Obviously ive tried several solutions found via google.
I have pulled down the lewer in acount settings thingy and maked sure that my account is an administrater account.
I have right clicked program86 folder and tried to change the folder to full access. But it denies me doing that...

Anyone have a solution to that?
