Quest Issue: Qeynos Monk headband quests

I've heard rumors about bugs, but someone told me they got fixed.

What's the deal with freeport monks trying to do qeynos headband quests. Sorast considers me kindly but still won't give me the quests cause he doesn't trust me enough. I assume its a bug.

Any help plz?

edit: I've talked to two other freeport monks now, both have had the same problem as me. 1 is currently stuck on the quest just like I am, and the other simply bought the purple headband. Unfortunately, I don't have 1-2k available to spend on an item like that. In fact I barely have 1k in the bank in total.

So I'd really like to be able to do this quest one way or another. If anyoen can help w/ this bug, ty

I believe that you can hand the stuff in anyway and he will complete the quest for you even if he says you are not trusted.

I struggled with this damned problem for about 2 weeks before i got told by someone that it worked and took the plunge and it did work.

wow man that's a big plunge to take. I guess it's just a video game, screw it i'll do it next time I'm in qeynos. I'm already back in freeport unfortunately but once I get the items for the purple headband (only have stuff for red right now) I'll got turn both in.

Well he was absolutely certain that it worked for him so i didn't feel very worried, he had no reason to lie.

I didn't write the quests for the headbands, I did for most of the sashes however. I can tell you that I did not see any faction requirements when I was perusing the headbands the other day.

I was doing the headband quests earlier today and the quest guy kept telling me I needed more SilentFistClan (conned Kindly). I turned them in anyway and succesfully completed them, got my red / purple headbands. Even though he says you need to be more trusted bla bla, he will still give you the headbands. However, when doing the Brother Qwinn turn ins he just ate my quest items (Code of Zan Fi and Purple Headband). I have done this twice now, and he has just taken them both times, no Needle of the Void, no dialogue, nothing. So beware of Brother Qwinn atm. I'm pretty bummed, spent the last week and 5-6 levels camping all that stuff TWICE (targin, headbands, etc) and had them trashed twice. Can't get any Gm's to respond, made 2 forum posts about it, and petitioned multiple times. To summarize, you can get red/purple headbands even if he says you don't have enough faction, but DO NOT DO BROTHER QWINN TURNINS!!!

I don't remember The red headband quest requiring ally faction. I am warmly, and he won't even give me the dialogue for the red headband quest. I am warmly, my guildie monk is max ally, and can't get the dialogue either. Togahn Sorast gives it, and I think it is bugged.
We just get the sorry, we give that out those we trust, or have proven their worth dialogue....

Seta Bakindo also won't give out the info to the word [tests] and Tomer Instoogle outside the gates won't respond to the correct dialogue, to follow you back to the guild hall and Master Seta, or carry his backpack, blah blah.
