Default Not being able to reach Lord Gikzic by ladder

After 2 hours of trying to figure out how to reach Lord Gikzic in East Cabilis , the Shadowknight trainer and quest giver of the Crusader's Tests. There should be an lip of floor to reach him , but there's not and no way to get back to him.

Stay in first person, go up ladder, stay on top of it, spin around, then jump and hit forward just as you do. Takes some practice, but its doable.

I've been trying to do what you stated, issue I'm running into is that jumping is about 2 to 3 second delay, if I try to move as hitting the jump key, it does not acknowledge the jump, if I wait til the apex of the jump, it does the jump but only moves me forward enoguh to drop all the way down.

Anyone else have any suggestions?

Didn't have problems with this. Recorded attempt.

First jump fail. Second jump success. Hope it helps you to figure it out.

There was a weird spot in an underground sewer in Cabilis, that you can't get out of, unless you set your fps down. You still have to go first person, and point your viewpoint just so, but the fps thing was what made it work. Maybe that would have helped this person too?

Here's the post about it: http://www.project1999.org/forums/sh...19&postcount=3
