Quest Issue: Brass Earing

Hi,

I gave a brass earing to Merchant Nildar. He was supose to reward me with a 'leather Tunic' and he gave me leather leggings.

Dwarf male slave gave me note to give to guard haldin and I got 2H bronze axe. I guess that is good. Sold for almost 5pp

I think you are supposed to get a 1h axe from this quest though

It is not the same quest.

If you give the brass earing to a male dwarf slave you get a letter to give to that guard for a chance to get the dwarven axe.

The quest im talking about if to get a leather tunic.

i turned my brass earing to an elf instead of a dwarf and therefore received a different letter

Merchant Nildar is located at 882, 202 in Kelethin. Give him the note.

taking the note you receive to Nildar results in: a piece of random leather armor, it sounds like

Merchant Nildar says 'My brother still lives? Thank you for this news. Please, take this with my deepest thanks.'

I have done this quest 4 times now 4 earrings to 4 wood elf slaves and 4 tattered notes to nildar i've gotten some pieces of armor leather or tattered leather and very very little experience
