![]() BLC is a game currently that's still in an early closed beta stage. If you're a competitive gamer and you enjoyed any of the following, you probably will enjoy BLC:
Heroes of Newerth World of Warcraft (specifically pvp) Dota League of Legends However, the best way to describe the game would be if you rolled up all of these into one game and turned it into an FPS/fighter hybrid online experience. It's really tough to explain, so watch this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TgLKeZnlk4E then check out the website and sign up for beta http://www.bloodlinechampions.com

![]() I'm in the beta. I live on the west coast so I get 220 ping every game. Half the times I log in no games appear. Second I can't use ladder match making cause I'm not "rank 5" yet so I can't play games that way. Really stupid design making me play matches before I can play ladder matches. If you want to team up tho I can ladder from rank 0 with a team then I could actually try the game out.

I dunno if you joined recently, but there used to be USEast servers up fairly often and there even was a USWest server that unfortunately had to be taken down 5 or 6 weeks ago. Right now the game is still very low budget, so they've been unable to purchase a decent service for US hosting, but Funcom is supposed to be providing them with new servers that will hopefully be here this weekend but if not then perhaps next. The matchmaking requirements are likely a temporary thing. Since the game has so few people playing right now, often times grades as low as 1 would be placed in matches full of rank 7 +. This would completely decide the match before it even started. When the game gets a big enough playerbase that people can consistently be matched up with players around their skill level they'll probably eliminate the grade req or at least reduce it. I feel your plight man. I am USWest too. Playing with 200+ ping is rough. My team actually decided not to participate in the game's first cash prize tournament this past weekend (150$) because it was played on EU servers (it was originally supposed to be on USEast but the server was down). It's real unfortunate for guys like us, but trust me it is worth waiting until they get some better support for American players.
