Game Mechanics: Mob cannot be interacted with in Qeynos Hills

Hey guys, there is a Grey wolf just to the right of the path (NE) when you enter Qeynos Hills from North Qeynos that is walking back and forth on a path from north west to south east that cannot be attacked. It dissapears when it approaches the end of its path to the southeast and reappears heading back northwest a short while later. I have tried to kill the mob a few times but whenever I get close and attack, kick or do a ranged attack, it is unresponsive.
