Character Names
So do the GMs enforce the naming rules on 1999?
I see so many people with names like fartbarf and such. I'd like to see these eliminated, but I'm sure its time consuming. I would like people to try and create a fantasy world, not a joke. Noudess

Fartbarf is actually a traditional Nordic surname.

And yeah, for all the bitching and whining on here about keeping the server classic, everyone will rip your ass open if you even mention names that are against the rules.

Some people get names changed, some are allowed to continue.
If I recall correctly... 1.) A bard named "Diio" or somethin of the nature had his name changed to just "Dio." I asked him how he got the 3 character name..... 2.) Amelinda changed "Braad McQuaid" Something about it was "celebrity" name.... 3.) I asked for a name change once, was told "WE DONT DO THAT" 4.) Ogre Warrior w/ Guise named "Bigsandwich" went up for sale on the forums, someone bought it for like 200k and I'm pretty sure they got the name changed.... But yeah, there are names out there like: Bruce Lee Poopi Pants Sickle Cell Cheech N'Chong Areyouangered Mybrother It's a "hit or miss" type of thing.
