Loved the hell out of this game back when I was overseas with friends in the barracks, in fact after playing the open beta for D3 I absolutely refused to buy it when I couldn't play it with a PS2 controller (or comparable).

Did you need to connect to some SoE server to play this PS2 title or the mentioned PSP title?
I never knew about the PSP title.
