Game Mechanics: Qeynos Guard aggro on Cannibalize

I just found that if I cannibalize standing next to a (warmly faction) Qeynos Guard, it will aggro immediately and take a pleasure in hitting me. Is that classic?

No it's not classic, it's just a bug that came with guard assist being implemented.

I think shamans like the OP have ruined their own lands and the guards aren't too fond of that.

I too took a death by guards from self inflicted dmg.....

Also I recall on VZ live/classic time that when PVPing near guards the person with the highest faction with the guard/NPC was the one who got assistance...? Not just action against the aggressor.

Anyone else remember such a thing?
