Registering, but game says incorrect password

I downloaded the filse from a youtuber, then i downloaded teh patch files fro mthe website... i am opening the batch file, then i'm tryign to ender my password in there, and it says not right. youtuber said, open batch file not the eq.exe

Using your game login user/pass and not the forum one correct? Did you create said game login account over @ eqemu?
