Default Highkeep Spawn Times

The spawn times in Highkeep seem to be very slow compared to what they were in classic. I seem to remember two or three groups being able to take the goblins without downtime.

Now a full group spends a good portion of the time at full health/mana while clearing every room.

Could you look at the spawn timers and correct them if they are too slow? At the moment it is hard for one group, let alone two, to get a steady flow of goblins in Highkeep.

I can account for this personally as well.

It is definitely slower than it should be. One group almost never cleared all 3 camps safely at level appropriate grouping.

Can anyone provide some evidence or research for this?

In live I'm pretty sure they all spawned every 6 minutes. Here I think it's more like 10 or 15.

I can't find any data to back that up though. Not entirely sure where it would be. Embedded in zone files?

The spawn time is pretty slow. I believe it's about 12 minutes or so, but if you have nothing else to do while waiting for that coveted group spot, it's an easy way to pick up some exp.

Is anybody out there who can tell me what the spawn time in WR is? dunno if I was just too tired at 06:00 a.m., but somehow I got mixed results... max was 12.5 minutes. ?

help is appreciated :-)

I checked that. It doesn't have data for spawn times, just anecdotal posts.

I haven't been able to find an exact quote about pickclaw spawn times, but I remember it being super fast as well, and I found a '99 reference to at least one mob being on a 6min timer in the zone..

"there is a prisoner called Osargen in the jail - he is on a 6 minute spawn"

http://www.eqclerics.org/forums/arch...p/t-10599.html

eqclerics is a superdope resource for little stuff too

also i have found MANY emu specific sites listing pickclaws at 10min 40sec

..they all seem to be universally set to that, and while I know that's not really evidence, I wonder if the fact that that time is so ubiquitous would be convincing enough for you guys to use it :P

I can list em if you want

Osargen changed to 6 min spawn time.

The stock DB for eqemu is .. good..but incredibly wrong for a lot of things. Especially spawn times.
