Access to Forum Features

Hi all,
Can anyone please explain why I don’t have access to most of the functionality of these forums? I recently created an account and was able to post once, but am not able to edit an Avatar or even add one. I am unable to PM anyone. I have tried replying to a posts, but none of my replies get posted. I’m hoping this post actually works. Please help.
