Game Mechanics: Pets arent working correctly

Found this webpage and as you can see there are 2 pet commands, pet guard here and pet guard me. These should make the pet automatically attack npc's as it states on the webpage.

/pet guard here -- Makes your pet stand in one one location and attack any NPC that comes near, including guards. He will return to his original location after the fight.

/pet guard me -- Pet follows you around and attacks any NPC that comes near you.

confirmed classic. this one describes WHAT they attack even (which is anything). i recall you had to be real careful using /pet guard commands. here' it just like "pet stand here"

What it should say, is that it will attack anything kos to the pet.
