Default darkness/snare

On live a necro or sk could pull with darkness and if they FD, the mob would not move until it wore off. It was like this since the start. That is not the case on this server. As soon as you FD the mob walks back to spawn as if he's not snared.

On Project 1999 Dooming darkness and above will work in that manner. Clinging and Engulfing will not.

Hmm, then this warrants some further discussion then. I use Dooming on my Shadow Knight on everything from Frogloks to Fire Giants and it always works perfectly for the purpose. There's another factor at work here.

Are you by chance a Necromancer who only recently got the spell? Dooming scales somewhat with levels; at 29 when a Necro gets it the snare is for a little less than monster walking speed. That's all I can think of at the moment.
