ye honestly tho im not all that into shooters. outside TFC and cs i really dont play them. like i said the skill system is pretty cool here and I like how everything is perma loss like EVE. like if someone spends the ISK to call down a vehicle and it gets blown up, its gone forever. even your weapons and suits outside the newbie ones get lost when you get blown up. im up to 1.5 mil ISK and about to start a corp for the hell of it (takes 1.5 mil to make a 10 man corp.) been training in medic shit and assault rifles. I can also drive light vehicles. i think i read it would take 20+ years to train into everything so you gotta really specialize like in EVE.

dont like shooters at all either but the system of ships and deployment could be cool.
Most of it is to take down the corps and alliances that have become too powerful in eve to shift the tides. Controlling resources has always been what eve was about and just like nihilum controlling raid mobs because losers join the winning side it ruins gameplay. This is just another way players can get an edge. Not going to be possible to control all the independent merc corps and alliances shit going to get nasty. As it stands right now no one can touch what the big alliances in eve can field and losses are expensive there. With mercs you can totally shit on people for close to nothing. All about balance And while im bored of eve its the most successful long term mmo of all time for a reason. Its pretty good | ||
