Quest Issue: Leatherfoot Raider Cap

Hi, I was doing the quest for the Leatherfoot Raiders when I encountered a bug. I acquired all the 4 skins as well as the dragoon dirk, then spoke to Marshal Anrey and followed the quest prompts. I then traded him all four skins and nothing happened. I am under the impression I should receive a temporary hat and the command to now acquire the dirk. I submitted a petition in game, and while I was offline a GM kindly returned the 4 skins to my inventory. I then tried again, to the same result. I am not sure if this is a bug isolated to me, or if I should not be trading all four skins at the same time. I opened a second petition yesterday morning but it was not answered in game, so I have decided to come to the forums.

Any help would be much appreciated! As a level 22 warrior I could really use the cap, and I certainly don't want to have to haul my little butt across Antonica to collect the skins just because the NPC bugged

I'm guessing you are trying to use Thick grizzly bear skin or the Non stackable version of the Shark skin. Make sure the Bear skin your using is Called "grizzly bear skin" and the shark skin you have is the stackable variety.

Hi, thanks for the response Thulack. I certainly had "grizzly bear skin" harvested from the punks in NK. However, I'm not sure if the shark skin was stackable! It simply said "shark skin" and was a drop from the sharks at the Erudin docks.

if it had a little 1 in the bottom right corner then it was the right one. if it didnt then you handed in the wrong skin.

those sharks at erudin docks drop a non-stackable shark-skin..i believe it's used for some kind of quest.

use the stackable shark skins instead. I hunted mine near docks in OOT by sisters.
