Do people still run pick up Hate raids?

Just dinged 60 and have no Planar at all so would really like to raid Hate more, do people still run Hate raids for randoms to join?

To answer you're question, i never see "groups" go up to the planes. You really need a raiding force if you want to experience all there is to offer.
In my opinion, if you want to get the full benefits of the planes... you need to join a raiding guild.

We have had guests several times on our raids. Try asking guild leaders.

Hate as an xp zone is much harder to pull off now with the corrected Line of Sight and aggro through wall issues causing port ups to be very dangerous now.

Pick up raids do happen, but more infrequently, and guilds are usually open to allow people to tag along for armor clears.

I'm basically in the same situation you are, Zart. I desperately want a few pieces of insidious, have an epic drop in hate I wouldn't mind looting, and would like to see the place as an enchanter. However, my guild doesn't really go up to hate. I asked around to a few different guilds, got some "i'll look for you next time we are doing hate and need an enchanter" and some "you'll only get rots" and such.

I'm getting close to trying to muster some friends and schedule a hate raid and post it up on the forums a few days ahead of time to see if we can get a 2-3 solid groups up there. I have my doubts about a real pug doing well when a couple of golems and another add or two appear in the camp, though.

Well keep me in mind Tecmos,

I am experienced with Hate. Raided it alot on live and a few times here so know the drill and mobs etc.

If you PM me with when you have it in mind ill definately come along.

Hate was cleared a lot more often by a single group for xp/armor before the LoS/wall aggro changes went into effect, now it takes a coordinated raid and port up procedure hence fewer pick up groups/raids.

FV occasionally has guests up in hate/fear. Send a tell to an officer if interested in going up.

there were more pick up raids pre kunark as well since everyone had everything they needed

now with epics and new 46+ memebers... i know alot of people that are still missing planar pieces including me. In one of the top 3 raiding guilds here. Even if we clear trash for members who are missing stuff.

Its gonna be hard unless you get guilded, then your required to do the guild thing wich can be quit the /played sink. Since you cant do w/e you want when you log in.
