This is what to expect if you join red.

I started a day or two ago, now I'm a lvl 12 Cleric. The leveling is fast for sure, but that's about as far as blue goes. There is a rather dramatic change in the way the game functions when people can kill you.

Got my cherry popped yesterday and it was everything I hoped for.

It started with a sweet deal I found on /ooc, we agreed to meet outside of Freeport and the seller told me to watch out for pks that might be after coin loot. I had my doubts.

The trade went down and I started back for the orc camps completely forgetting the supposed bandits in the commons. Zoning into ec, of course, attack, some random necro was on me, I panicked and hit gate, only to realize that unlike a mob this player had already anticipated my likely route of escape and was waiting for me on the other side. A bit of zone dancing and melee strikes later I ran the necro off.

It was time to celebrate my glory! Then realization struck, I had been carrying a fire beetle eye unbagged and was glowing like a fire on a dark night. What a fool I had been!

Back on the path to the Orc camps I happened upon a druid. Talk about an emotional roller coaster, he buffed me, and I thanked him will all I could afford. A tale of my first encounter with those who meant me harm.

Moments later, this noble druid whisked me away on a magical journey to the lands of betrayal, or as some call it, his half-elven homeland., The Northern Karanas' because "the foul elfs must be cleansed!"

Zoning..

Hours of CR ahead.

Loving the server so far, I'll be calling this home from now on.

(update) the druid ported me back and let me get my body.
