Teasing the graphics yet you're playing one of the oldest games today.

If anything you would know that game play is what makes these games what they are.

There is no pvp game like this, that screenshot you took was a Christmas event a couple years ago.

Should atleast give it a try if you're not dedicated to any other current games, it's worth it and it's not a huge time zone to level like other games.

Thanks for the link. I didn't even know that game was still going. I remember hearing about it now and then. I started EQ in March 1999, but had never heard of Meridian 59 at the time.

Old games don't turn me off. I've played MUDs.

I may give it a run to see what it was all about. It's open source I see. Nice. It'll grow.

Is it classic? Have they changed it?

Kind of interested in how the classic version played.

I had "The Great Escape" (based on the film) on my ZX Spectrum as a kiddie, it was amazing, the graphics were as pictured, but the gameplay were really good. That doesn't mean I'd play it right now. Immerse yourself in nostalgia with a video below.

Speaking of MUDs, I just started playing this one. Aparently some original EQ developers played this a lot

there certain standards of quality that were created with everquest that these prior games lack, i think the everquest emulator is a true classic MMO experience unlike any other and I seriously doubt it's my nostalgia blurring memories, the graphical world of everquest still looks aesthetically pleasing while providing a immersive game.

It's classic, little has been changed but they do minor changes every few weeks, nothing radical.
