Default Transfer characters: red to blue

Do you think you will allow us the option to transfer our character(s) over to blue? Due to lack of population and/or guild options, there are some people, like myself, who are in a situation where we are unable to further our characters. My normal play time is mornings to mid afternoons, est. These are times when Nilhium members are barely on. The only other guild option currently is not an option for me. It makes me wonder why I even log in anymore...

I was just wondering if this would ever be an option for us?

Thanks!

only if i have the option to xfer my char from blue to red

and typically NO

due to you guys getting a 100% xp bonus for almost a year, then it being toned down to 50%.

Absolutly NO if you can lvl to 60 in half the time it takes a blue player to lvl.

also if there is a xfer from blue to red, the char should have a x50% multiplyer added so say a lvl 30 bard would be lvl 44 due to xfer to compensate for the bonus xp you guys have had.

if not, then let this red server die

my 2 copper

Ur math is wrong...its been 50% for awhile now too 50+ (which it doesnt start to get slow on either server until 54+)...basically instead of a level 59 guy getting 1,000 exp for a mob on blue, he gets 1,500 on red...that's not half the time.

I'm just thinking the devs should at least give us an option, at some point. It would be nice. Most people probably wouldnt do it, but a few probably would want to (like myself).

You realize the reason there is bonus XP here is because of the incredible difficulty of finding groups / the fact you lose XP when you get PVPed that cannot be rezzed / PVP at any moment that interrupts your grind. I doubt most people on blue could level to 60 here on red in the time they could on blue.

I think this is a good idea, however - to keep from taking from blue population. Since you can play both at the same time; Why not let blue copy their character over to Red and only keep level + skills + no drop items - (plat/droppables/tradeables not allowed) and let them play both.

red to blue will never be allowed because of the easy xp on Red.

blue to red i imagine shouldnt be ruled out. although im sure you would lose any droppables (non no drop), and possibly coin, or most coin (to avoid upsetting the red economy). that being said, i think a character copy would be better than a character transfer, as it preserves the population on blue.

http://www.project1999.org/forums/sh...ad.php?t=83903

It's from 3 months ago but theres a TON of useful posts in there from server admins.

Total exp needed to level on blue (to 60): 561,600,000
Total exp needed to level on red (to 60): 374,400,000

On blue it takes 368,793,600 exp to reach level 56. Perhaps transferring red characters or copying red characters to blue at a reduced level based on experience would be a viable option? For example, my 60 shaman on red could be reduced to level 55 on blue if transferred. Just a quick thought. Don't think you should rule this out just because it's easier to level on red.
