Black Fur Boots Question

So...I have my epic and did it the non traditional way...

I decided I want the black fur boots so he died and I have the pelt but now the spirit sent in EJ is only indifferent to me (I guess faction resets on epic turnin).

Do you need faction with TrueSpirit to get the boots? I haven't handed in yet because I'm afraid it might get eaten. Anyone know for sure?

Yes, you need high amiable faction iirc. Or just run through the first few steps of the epic upto the black dire, it doesn't really take that long.

I ended up doing all steps to black dire. Took a few hours but was pretty fun!
