Just reading over the page, you're essentially correct. You can see this by reading the road map, with each year ending with the sentence "high definition video streams providing viewers on Earth with 24/7/365 engagement."

Still a neat project though, if it's legit. I do have many questions like: would there be an economy ? What type of leadership hierarchy would there be, can you travel back and forth between earth and mars ? can you bring back raw materials to sell privately ? What types of regulations would need to be considered etc etc.

You can't walk around on Mars without a suit so you'd basically be living in one of those pods for the rest of your life. It'd feel like living the rest of your life in a condom. You'd never feel the outdoors again. I don't think there is any feasible way yet to offer sufficient radiation protection to humans who leave Earth's electromagnetic field, so you'd likely be sterilized on the way over.

But as someone who has basically nothing here on Earth, I'd sign up for this shit. Especially if they eventually built a big biodome with plants, shrubbery, and climate control inside.
