Unhappy I pulled out my Super Nintendo, but my saves keep vanishing

Now i won't be able to enjoy the 2 of the best RPG's to ever grace the Super Nintendo console.

probably have to open up the cartridges and replace the batteries inside. they should be something like CR2032's

This was exactly what i was thinking. kinda weird for a cartridge game. It was better when Nintendo upgraded to the actual memory cards when the N64 came out. I had this happen to my copy of A Link to the Past, had to replace the battery to get saves workin again.

Unfortunately N64 didn't have the game base to compare to SNES. There was a couple good ones, but SNES was far superior to console gaming than the N64 ever was.

I've been thinking of purchasing a super everdrive.

Cheaper than buying real cartridges for older games.

On one hand, I'm outraged that Earthbound hasn't been mentioned yet, while on the other hand, this thread has given me ideas for what to ask my mom for christmas this year.
