Default Enchanter Epic Pre-Quest

Hi all,

Just curious if any encs who have completed epic can confirm that you dont need to do the pre-quest for jeb's seal. I was able to do the 2nd staff piece with no problems but didnt want to be screwed on a later step.

Correct. Don't need to do prequest.

What's the purpose of the pre-quest/Jeb's Seal then?

As a lead into the Epic Quests before people knew every detail about what is/isn't skippable. Later on, you're required to do it.

Currently, you can walk up to a master and say "i need a sack" (Dev humor?) And they will give you one. At some point in the future they will only give you a sack once you hand them the seal.

I found this out literally 1 minute after i turned in my items for the pre quest, then promptly cried. So if you plan to do your epic soon, you can bypass this step and save either time or money getting an smr. The other parts are kinda fun i thought.
