Active character online

tried logging on tonight, and im getting a message saying that I have an active character online...somehow got a keylogger maybe? dunno how this happened. I only have 2 low level characters on here because I just started two days ago. Any ideas on how to get control of my account?

Could it be a friend. Or maybe you've got another eq open. Change your password

It happens quite often. I've had to wait around 20 hours some times until this bug finally clears. Apparently the GMs are unable to help as it is a problem with the EQ Emu servers rather than the p1999 server,

No, unless you've been throwing your login details around it's more likely to be this common bug.
