Default Rain spells and pets

it would seem that, atleast since the latest spell patch, pets (charmed, and regular pets) are soaking up rain hits and auto-resisting it.

this is very annoying since almost all groups have atleast 1 pet, and the bug turn rains into shit.

Not a bug.

*Patch Day*

Today's patch contains a wide variety of enhancements and changes. Due
to the number of changes being made, this list is primarily a summary.
Extended descriptions of the changes and the reasoning behind them can
be solicited on the EverQuest Message Boards.

*Spell and Skill Changes*

--- Rain spells no longer count pets against total number of entities
they can damage (all rain spells)

Not a bug.
do you know if that implies NPC or PC pets? it would appear very weird to have PC pets soak up rain hits.

It's a bug, but it's intentionally in because that's how rain spells worked until at least mid-to-late velious

It's obviously a bug, just fix it please. It's retarded too, because us Wizards have to suffer for the damn Necros and Mages who send in their pets.

It's not a bug until it needs changing per timeline.

Moving to resolved.

At least 2 months after Velious we can hope for this to be changed.

I think Velious released December 5, 2000, and this was changed February 21 2001... Looking forward to February 21 2001. hah
