Any character editors available?

Hello I was wondering if one of these million servers has a character editor where i can skip to any level and get any item to test characters with so I have a good idea what I want to play here? Anyone?

I've actually wondered this myself. Back when eqemu first came I messed around with it and remember having full rights. Like summoning any item/npc you want.

Download AX_CLASSIC Repack which is a super easy way to fire up a local EQEmu server, create a toon, #level 60, and use # commands to summon items and explore dungeons.

Ok so I tried your suggestion. I downloaded the server, ran mySQL and the server and made my own private login and server. Logged in and created a character and when I typed #60 it still said i had insufficient privileges to use this command.

Is there some special way to login as admin because even when I login on the host computer while running the server it still assumes I'm just another a client.

you didnt make your account an admin account

How do you do that exactly? There was no option to make an admin account, on this AX Classics interface there is a create account button, no check marks or anything to differentiate it.

you really should stop posting about this here, there is an eqemulator forum AND an axclassic forum for you to ask these questions

but to answer your question , in the axclassic repack, you need to open heidisql from the tools menu, from here you have access to the database, go to the accounts table and change your access level to 250
