![]() Whenever I do '/target <selfname>' my hps bounce to 50%, then back up. When I'm trying to macro a button to target self, heal, and retarget NPC, it's kind of frightening....
Is it a bug? A UI problem? Fixable? Just me?

![]() I can confirm this isn't a UI only bug. Say I'm at 10hps, and I /target myself. My hps drop to 5. Let's then say that I get hit for 6 damage. I get knocked out, and then half a second later I'm back on my feet with 4 hps.
Is there a better way to macro the action "target me, heal me"?

![]() I've asked a few people about this in game. It doesn't look like it's isolated to me and my client. Is it just that most people don't use /target to target themselves? Or do most people not have a good reason to target themselves wtih a macro?

![]() Weird. I will look at it tomorrow, if I get a chance.

![]() Any update on this? It seems to be getting worse as I level. Right now, if I have 80% 228/427 hps. When I type '/target Driado' my hps drop to 12 for a full second, then bounce back up to 228.

![]() This happens to me also when /targeting omni (damn you omniknight!)
For healing self on my cleric is just use tab, press my heal macro, then press tab again. I don't need to have a macro just to target myself and then heal. It seems inefficient (and lazy)

![]() Isn't this a case of the client being wrong, but everything actually being fine? As in,your health was never actually 12, the client just thought so for a second. You were never in a risk of dying.
Also, is this related to, let's say you're fighting two mobs. One is as 100%, the other is at 50%. You're targeting the one at 50%. When you switch to the 100% one, the health will show at 50%, then animate up to 100%. When switching back to the 50% one, it'll animate down. It just immediately jump to the actual health. That's just how the client behaves.

![]() Pretty sure the hp indicator is reading the health of what you were last targeting - that or some weird server to client lag.
