Default Beginning a song, and then sitting

I've noticed that as of the lastest patch, when I begin my heal song and immediately sit down, the song won't finish casting.

Before the patch, as well as from what I remember from classic EQ, you could begin a song, immediately sit, and the song would pulse wen the casting was finished.

EDIT: This also occurs when you loot a mob before a song has finished casting; it interrupts the song.

Strangely, you can still sit or loot once a song has already pulsed once, but on the first pulse, it'll interrupt.

Another aspect of this bug is that if you have not memorized all your songs yet, you can start one song (say mana song), have it finish the first pulse, then sit and open your book to memorize all the other songs and the mana song will keep playing, even though as soon as you start to memorize any song it's supposed to stop.

This has been going on for awhile. I don't think its a related bug (although it could be).
