Default Wood Elf Guards in Gfay

The Wood Elf Guards in Gfay are not helping against the bandits from the bandit camp south east of Keletin.

I agroed a bit more of them then i could handle and trained them to the nearest lift ... guard standing there and watching the show. Trained them to the second lift, both guards enjoying the show and watching me die. In case my faction and race may play any role in this i am a dwarf paladin and the guards con amiably to me.

Should these guards kill bandits? It's sometimes questionable when they are protect against humanoid npcs.

I don't have any proof, and back on live when I did bandits on my bard was in the POP era, so not classic. However, I do not think I remember guards assisting me with bandits. I think I too found this out the hard way.
