Default Palace of Ghiosk (CoM) Stone key

http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=24662

the Captain of the Guard should drop they key, I remember it was common. I have killed the captain like 40times and no key. Has anyone seen the key drop?

It is part of shammy epic and shoul dbe fixed if possible. I know I can get rogue to open it for me, but it only makes things harder as rogues are not the most common class on p99.....if monks could pick locks .... lol
