Default Nektulos Forest Moss Snakes

In Nektulos Forest, the number of Tree Snakes throughout the zone is way higher than it should be. Any snakes surrounding the city/newbie log area are supposed to be Moss Snakes, not Tree Snakes. Tree snakes first make their appearance by the fork in the road where bears can typically be spotted for the first time by a young adventurer. Sadly I never thought to take a screenshot of moss snakes to prove this. But I'm sure other players can back me up on this.

Having played so many Dark Elves over the years, I took this for granted when I started on this server and ran up and attacked the nearest snake, only to find out it's a level 5-6 mob with poison. Oops.

Additionally, I don't know if "a Young Kodiak" still spawns in this zone, but I've not seen one yet. They were pretty few and far between, but similar to the lesser mummy, a very real and dangerous threat to players near the commonlands zone area (IE Beyond the bridge).

Agreed. The newbie log just to the South of the Neriak entrance has a spawn point right on top of the log. Usually it's a spider, but the other day I ran past and saw a tree snake. Very few moss snakes in the area...

Also, there were no bixies in Nektulos on classic.

I've worked some on thinning out the tree snakes.

Bixies:

Quote:
bixie, a Nektulos Forest 1 1 13 13 Bixie Ranger (-823,-147)
showeq spawnlog from 2000 includes a bixie in nektulos.

:P
