Default Suggestions for a new PC?

Well guys its been 8 years and ive had the same machine but quite frankly im not able to try out any of these newly released games! So i am looking for suggestions on where to purchase a gaming pc capable of playing SWTOR and possibly Dota2 when released.

Ive been searching newegg pretty frequent, but it seems the ones with most positive feedback are out of stock for the past month. Any suggestions !?

My budget is around 800$

I am sure there are plenty. A couple of qualifying questions first:

1) Are you doing this on a budget? What's your top dollar? Not that you need to spend all of your allotment, but I won't waste time suggesting a $1100 system when you only have $700.

2) Are you trying to keep any of your current components? Probably not, if it's 8 years old, but some people are just in love with their case and would rather just swap out parts in it. Or they sprung for a very large LCD a LOOONG time ago and its still holding up.

3) Are you opposed to assembling components together, or are looking to plug it in, fire it up, and play?

Thanks for responding ! I am looking to spend around 700-900$, hoping that would be enough to run my games at a solid performance.

Im am not gonna try to save parts off an 8 yearold pc ( Its a dell XPS to be precise ) id probably end up giving it to my cousin or perhaps keeping it for spare useage.

I am basically looking for a plug in, fire it up and play yes =P

<del>www.reddit.com/r/buildapc. Better advice there than anything you'll get here.

As far as some build guides, I recommend these as baselines:
http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/...mark,3099.html
http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/buy...ptember-2011/1

If you are in school, I recommend looking into your school's enrollment in MSDNAA:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/academic/dd861349

Good luck!</del>

Nvm, you want something plug-n-play. IDK, Dell or Cyberpower for desktops I guess.

Bang for your buck, this looks good.

HP/Dell/<large chain> all have something in your price range as well. I just browsed and put together an Alienware X51 in about 5 minutes for $900 (i5, 8GB RAM, DVDRW, 1TB HDD, 1GB GeForce GT 545) No monitor, but you could either use what you have or get that ASUS I linked above for <$100. A bit outside of your price range, but Alienware isn't bad. Happy hunting, and please let us know what you get!
