Game Mechanics: Riposted Mob on my Shaman

I was taking melee damage from a mob and riposted a kick. It looks like the kick did no damage to me and I did no damage back to the mob. It's still odd that I received the message that I riposted the hit when my shaman will never be able to train the skill.

This is a known issue, and it happens very rarely.
