Default Primary Weapon max DPS Question!!!

So I'm under the impression your second weapon cant hit unless your primary hits first so its best to have your fastest wep in your main hand. but is that true at 50+? I feel like I do more dmg with adamintine club in main and Sarnak warhammer in off but maybe thats just because the numbers are larger...

Both hands swing independently. Try putting a wurmy in your primary and a fast weapon in your offhand and you'll see 2+ offhand swings per mainhand swing as long as dual wield goes off.

second question would be dmg bonus only applys to primary right?
