Default Insufficient Mana

I have noticed this happening for a while now (at least 3 weeks). When trying to cast a spell with JUST enough mana I often get the message "insufficient mana" even though I, in fact, DO have enough mana.

The spell will then try to cast, stop after the same time it takes to fizze, I will lose a Fizzle's worth of mana and then get the message "your spell has been interrupted."

This only happens when i have "just enough" mana. Aka, if the spell I am trying to cast costs 200 mana, this effect never happens as long as i have at least 210-215 mana when i try to cast.

It's been happening to me for months, just never cared enough to post it. But confirming.

I think it just a lag issue.. i usually wait an extra tick beyond what i need for the spell to cast..

then i go to town

Same, happened to me for months. I checked and it seems like the system is not happy for me to cast a spell until I have 110% of the required mana. This has been very consistant through my testing.

I've had this happen as well. It is probably an issue of the client calculating your mana, whereas the server has another value.

I believe this is a specialization issue. Specialization lowers the mana costs of spells, If you attempt to cast a spell with a base mana cost of 240, which is then lowered to 215 with specialization, and you currently have 220 mana it will tell you that you have insuficant mana because Specialization mana reduction happens at the end of cast, not beggining.

Naw - this is not a specialisation issue. This happens to hybrids also (and we don't get specs).
