Default Auto-attack issue

Early this morning when the server first came up I logged into gfay and went straight for an orc oracle. It nearly killed because I could do nothing but kick. I attributed it to being slowed as I ran for the guards. The next orc that I killed had no issue. I then logged for the night.

Twice this morning however during fights with an orc in CB my auto-attack has simply quit responding. I can still kick, the screen is still flashing away, but no attack animations and no hit or miss text in my combat window.

My only solution so far has been to turn off attack, move back and forth slightly, and turn it back on. This has worked eventually.

Also I checked the front page and didn't see the listed so I figured I'd post it.

This was happening in solb for the rogue in my group. I was pulling and didn't have it happen, but it did happen once when I tried to engage a mob that had popped in camp while I was awake and my group was fighting it.

There is no "you are too far away" or "you can't see your target" message. You just don't swing.

On my SK I auto attack, most the times it works no problem, other times ill hit once or twice and it just never hits again, but Auto Attack still going.

I found if I cast a spell, or turn off/on it'll stop it, but eventually resetting again, if it helps!

This is NOT the same as the target too far away, press esc and retarget thing, btw. This is a new issue likely brought with the fix of attacking behind you. It is triggered by something (it just happened to me but I wasn't paying attention to what I was doing, I just remember I did SOMETHING and sudden;y stopped attacking). I will update as I run test trials and come to some conclusions!

happened to me several more times tonight in crushbone. not frequent enough to cause deaths or what have you, but i'd say at least 10 times.

happened here aswell: no autoattack but specials (backstab) worked. no oor message either. if i moved from behind to the side of the mob and turned a little, autoattack resumed.

Yes, this is a bug I introduced. I put together a patch to fix though. Its that pesky using angles 0-360, and when you go around by adding or subtracking, you gotta adjust it back to the range you want. I had a case that was missed. Ooops.
